About
Mr Bass is a Dutch techno DJ and producer based in Dubai. His sound is high-tech minimal: tight, rolling grooves, busy little details, and melodies that move your body. If you listen to Boris Brejcha, you'll hear where he's coming from.
He learned his craft in the Netherlands. He spent years playing in Dutch clubs and producing in his own studio. The Dutch scene taught him what a dance floor needs from a track: proper build ups, a groove and a pounding bassline.
Then he stopped. For ten years he stepped away from DJing and production. He never stopped listening, and when he went back into the studio in Dubai, the music flowed again and production felt effortless. Mr Bass is back, evolved.
His Dubai New Year mix has passed 100,000 views on YouTube, and his first new original tracks are on the way. He plays in Dubai venues and parties, and you can hear the rest on SoundCloud and YouTube.
